This is one of the most useful apps I’ve come across in a long time. I can take courses for free from top universities like Boston University, UCLA, Carnegie Mellon University and MIT, amongst many others.

Basically, you can get an education from Ivy League schools without paying for it. Why pay a ton of money in tuition and school resources when you can get it for free on your iPhone (or iPad)? You can do these courses on your own pace and wherever you are.

You’ll find courses in business, engineering, history, and so on and the materials are either audio, text, or video.

This is incredibly useful – and an interesting to see how this will shape the future of education.

You don’t need a Kindle to read ebooks from Amazon.com – you can use the Kindle app on your iPhone or iPad! It’s completely free, too.

I already own a Kindle, and it’s great, can’t complain – but I also spend a lot of time on my iPhone, reading books and magazines I bought via iTunes.

So, I decided to download the Kindle app and see if I can just have all my reading material on my iPhone – and it works out great. The best part is that I also have continued access to millions of books and magazines from Amazon.com.

But – and this is what I love about this app – it automatically syncs my last page read, bookmarks, notes, and highlights across all devices I use it on! I can start reading on my laptop, continue on my Kindle, and then pick it right up where I left it on my iPhone.

I can’t recommend this app enough, access to a ton of content via Amazon.com, easy to use, and the sync capabilities are ridiculously good benefits.

Snap a quick photo with your iPhone, transform it with filters – instantly share on Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr. Easy, fast, fun. A new take on photo sharing.

The real reason why I love Instagram so much is because of the filters. Instead of spending hours on my laptop with a photo editing software, I can just apply any filter I want, like Hipstomatic for a fun hipster feel. These filters are also free. I’ve started to take random photos just to try filters and see what comes out of it. It makes taking photos with my iPhone more fun than before, when I rarely saw an opportunity to snap a pic.

You also have Linear and Radial blur and other functions that lets anyone be creative – and then share it via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, Foursquare, and Posterous.

One of the best free photography and panorama apps on the market. It allows you to automatically stitch photographs just by moving side to side. It offers 3D view of the saved photos and a way to auto-crop the photos and save them to your gallery so you can use them with other apps like Instagram.

It’s so easy to capture panoramas of people, places, and events. Not only do you go left to right but you can also add to the photo by going up and down! Not many photo apps can do this. You can also view the full panorama right away.

Also, and this is worth to mention: the stitching capabilities are amazing. I rarely, if ever, notice where the photo is stitched (put together). It’s, for all I can tell, completely seamless.

The app also lets you share your panorama via email, for example, or also on Bing.com!
